About Us
The Levantine Institute of Tripoli (LEVIT / part of S.A.R.L Sham Development) is a social enterprise which is strongly committed to Education in Tripoli for the most underprivileged. The LEVIT offers Arabic courses as a foreign language but also, through partnership with local NGOs, it proposes to international students, which are for the majority well educated foreigner opportunities to volunteer and teach English or French to vulnerable children of Zehrieh, a working-class neighborhood of Tripoli.
