    Hospice focuses on enhancing the quality of life, rather than length of life. It neither hastens nor postpones death; it affirms life and regards dying as a normal process.

    The hospice program stresses human values beyond the physical needs of the patient. Hospice ensures patients spend their final days in dignity and comfort. ProMedica / Heartland Hospice's program utilizes a team approach to meet the physical, social and spiritual needs of our patients and their families.
