Rooted Farmers is a women-led online sales platform that partners exclusively with fragmented, underserved, small- and mid-sized farms across the US. Our marketplace platform and software serve both B2B and B2C channels, facilitating hyper-local sales of environmentally-friendly, local alternatives to carbon-intensive imported product.
Imported flowers represent one of the most carbon-intensive agricultural crops on the planet: from the pesticides used in industrialized farming operations, to the preservatives used for long-term dehydrated transport, to the cold chain necessary to move perishable product long-distances. Our mission at Rooted is to lift up small farms in rural economies, ultimately providing an environmentally-friendly alternative for small businesses across the country, while driving dollars back into local economies and sustainable agricultural practices.
