Stillwater Hospice is ACHC accredited and takes an integrated approach to hospice care. Our patients and families will be supported by Physicians, Nurses, CNA’s, Social Workers, Spiritual Care and Bereavement Provider and Volunteers. While hospice patients and their families are facing significant, a hospice volunteer can be a welcome partner. Stillwater Hospice offers opportunities that allow you to choose a role in which you feel comfortable and fulfilled. Our volunteers provide a wide range of services that benefit our patients and their caregivers. If you are interested in becoming a Stillwater Hospice volunteer, know that you will have the opportunity to bless and enrich the lives of people right in your community. We also want the experience to make you feel fulfilled as you share your time and abilities with others. Some of our hospice volunteers opt to provide companionship and support. That can mean simply visiting them in their home, spending time talking with them, and even providing a bit of downtime or respite for primary caregivers. All our volunteers support our Hospice team in offering grace to both the patient and their loved ones. Stillwater Hospice volunteers, are open minded, understand needs are physical, emotional and or spiritual, respecting all beliefs. Our volunteers receive awareness, and insight through volunteer training. Our volunteers, provide companionship, care giving relief, and emotional support, they can do light house cleaning, transcribing oral histories, and provide office assistance,
