  • About Us

Yellow Leaf Hammocks is a social enterprise dedicated to sustainable economic development in rural Thailand. Through the sale of stylish, 100% handcrafted hammocks, we empower weavers + communities to rise from debt slavery + extreme poverty to stability + the middle class.

Yellow Leaf Hammocks advocates for job creation as a means to break the cycle of systemic poverty that plagues the bottom one percent. By creating one artisan weaving job, we can remove an entire family from toxic slash + burn, make sure all their kids go to school instead of working in the fields, free up a spouse to explore sustainable farming or entrepreneurship, support a local economy and reduce vulnerability to trafficking.

Our motto is "Do Good. Relax."

In 2014, we were named on the B Corp "Best for the World" + "Best for the Environment" list of honorees.
