    The mission of Heartland Hospice is to provide quality hospice care to patients with a limited life expectancy, as well as provide support to their caregivers. The quality of life for those we serve is enhanced through palliative and specialized supportive care designed to meet the physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs of the patients and caregivers. It is our policy to admit and treat all persons without regards to race, color, national origin, handicap, age, sex, marital status, religion, contagious disease or sexual preference.

    Hospice care is a promise...a promise to patients who are facing the most difficult time of life, when choices seem few, and the patient and family situation is most fragile.

    Heartland Hospice's program utilizes a team approach to meet the physical, social and spiritual needs of our patients and their families. This team includes the medical director, attending physician, nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, home health aides, spiritual counselor, bereavement counselors and volunteers.

    We depend on our volunteers to help us provide the extra love and care our clients and their families need at this time in their life.
