Southern Care Hospice Services

  • Mission

The Mission of Curo Health Services and it's hospice affiliates is to honor life and offer compassion to individuals and their families when facing a life-limiting illness.

    About Us

Hospice Volunteers are an integral part of the hospice team. The volunteer’s role in hospice care includes patient/family and administrative support. Volunteers can provide direct patient support in the patient’s home or a nursing facility with the purpose of companionship and/or caregiver relief. Some volunteers help the patient/family celebrate special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. Administrative volunteers primarily work in our hospice office filing and/or assist with mailings.

More hospice volunteers are needed to help meet the needs of our patients as well as the needs of our office staff. If you know someone who might be interested in becoming a hospice volunteer have them contact us at SouthernCare Hospice. Volunteers must be 16 and over, pass a back ground check, drug test, T.B. skin test, and be C.P.R certified. (Direct care volunteers only.)
