Liberty Hospice's philosophy exists in the hope and belief that through appropriate care and promotion of a caring community sensitive to their needs, patient and their families may be free to attain a degree of mental and spiritual preparation for death that is satisfactory to them. Hospice focuses on caring, not curing. At the center of hospice is the belief that each of us has the right to die pain-free and with dignity, and that our families will receive the support necessary to allow us to do so.

At Liberty Hospice, we strive to use the time and talents of those who answer our call to serve. Whether it is visting with patients, running errands of helping out in our office, hospice volunteers allow our professional team to devote more time to providing exceptional care to both our patients and families. We truly believe that volunteers are the heart of our care.
