Our mission is to eradicate youth unemployment in Africa by training the youths in Business Development and Social Entrepreneurship to equip them with necessary soft skills and connect them to potential employers as well as set-up businesses for youths so that they can have a stable and secured future.

Youth unemployment
Youths account for 60% of all of Africa’s jobless, according to the World Bank. In North Africa, the youth unemployment rate is 25% but is even greater in Kenya,Botswana, the Republic of the Congo, Senegal, and South Africa, among others. With 200 million people aged between 15 and 24, Africa has the largest population of young people in the world. In most African countries, youth unemployment “occurs at a rate more than twice that for adults,” notes the African Development Bank.
In a study undertaken in Kenya, 70% of the unemployed youths are graduates from the Universities and colleges. They have the relevant training but do not have jobs. Africa’s unemployment statistics exclude those in vulnerable employment and those who are under-employed in informal sectors. “Young people [in Africa] find work, but not in places that pay good wages, develop skills or provide a measure of job security.
Solution our organization provides
We train the youths on Business Development and Social entrepreneurship to equip them with soft skills necessary for the most-in-demand job. There is a growing trend in startups and Small Medium Enterprises increasing the demand for Business Developers and there are few trained Business developers. We bridge the gap by acting as a link between the unemployed youths and the business owners. Our main target group are the university and college graduates irrespective of their academic background. We give them a fresh start by putting them through rigorous training and offer them paid internships that lead to permanent employment in our partner companies as well as put up businesses for the Social entrepreneurs we train and provide them with the necessary capital and business coaching to make them independent and have a stable source of income.
