Upriver Studios

 Upriver Studios is a large-scale film and tv production facility led by women with a public benefit mission to create local jobs in the Hudson Valley and improve sustainability and inclusivity in the film and tv industry.

Our 101,000 SF climate forward facility is located in Saugerties, NY, housing three large stages, work corridors, and production and post production offices.

We exist to create jobs for the diverse workforce in our community while stimulating the Hudson Valley economy. We are creating a sustainable production facility with 30% less carbon emissions than equivalent conventional production facilities.

At the core of our mission are inclusiveness and workforce development in the Hudson Valley film and television industry, and we believe that Black people, Indigenous people, people of color, women, LGBTQIA+ people, and people from underserved communities should be centered in this work.
