It is Homestead Hospice mission to lessen the burden of a life-limiting illness and ease the pain along the way. In ever action and every visit Homestead Hospice will 1. Provide quality end of life care that is both sensitive and compassionate. 2. Provide support, education and guidance to patients and families. 3. Promote independence and dignity while providing spiritual, emotional , physical and financial peace. For those who much is given, much is required: thus, it is our commitment and honor to serve the hopsice needs of patients and thier families.
About Us
Volunteering at Homestead Hospice feel's good! Homestead Hopsice's volunteers benefit from our pateints who have lived long and varied lives. Just sitting with a pateints to hear his/her life story can change the path you take in life. You never know what you might learn.
Volunteering with specialty skills such as a home health care or nursing, allows our pateints to receive more care. If your specialty is organizing, our office would be happy to let you help us out for the day. And if you specialize in hugs and compassion, we are looking for someone just like you.
Whatever your special skill, we would love to have you volunteer with us.
