Culture of Safety

Culture of Safety is a local Chicago (Rogers Park) small business. We are trans/non-binary, queer, and neurodivergent-owned.

Our work centers on providing wellness services and empowerment offerings to kids and adults. We specialize in supporting trans folx, neurodivergent kids and adults, and immigrant families.

We offer ongoing sliding scale karate classes for kids and adults, and workshops for adults on empowerment self-defense, de-escalation, bystander intervention, and workplace safety. We also offer classes for young people, such as self-defense & bullying prevention for kids, youth, and teens in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. We offer shiatsu massage and host community Wellness classes.

Additionally, we strive to offer affordable, interactive, and neurodivergent-affirming day care for kids on no- school days, such as holidays, spring break, summer break and other Chicago Public School days off.
