At Enhabit health and hospice, we believe hospice is not a place, but rather a philosophy of care. Our goal is to bring dignity and comfort home by offering compassionate care to patient and family to the final stages of life.
About Us
Enhabit Health is looking for a in home volunteer to provide emotional and physical support to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by providing companionship and care to the patient and families on hospice. Other ways to help can be doing administrative tasks, crafts, doing tuck in calls with patients each week. Come share your experiences and hobbies! We are looking for music therapy, veterans, pet therapy, and end of life volunteers at this critical time of their lives.
