Helfen ohne Grenzen

Hello everyone! We are Helfen ohne Grenzen (Help without borders) - a community group from Germany that wants to help stray animals all over the world but especially in Turkey, as conditions have worsened. It is incredibly important to be the voice for the voiceless and to help those in need. For this reason, I have funded this project dedicating it to those poor souls that live mostly under terrible conditions - from facing severe health issues to even being starved to death.

Even though cities like Istanbul are best known for their stray cats and how everyone loves them for instances seeing images where the cats sleep in local stores- life looks very differently in more rural areas, such as Sivas. There most of the street animals are being treated poorly and most of the time die because of the lack of food and water. Additionally, because of climate change, winter have been getting much colder and summers much warmer, which makes survival even harder.

Therefore, we want to help because we cannot look away as this would speak against our core values. We have to act.

In our area Germany (Schwäbisch Gmünd and Stuttgart) 7 schools are involved with over 30+ volunteers. We do regular baking sales, fundraising events, advocacy meetings and stay transparent and active on social media. Over the past year, we have won and gained international awards and recognitions from Germany and Turkey and collaborated with Turkish university professors as well as communities and organizations from both countries. Yet, we do need more help, internationally and nationally.
