The Blaque Script

Mission Statement

The Blaque Script is a writing collective built for and by Black youth. In a world where Black voices are often dismissed and pushed aside, we uplift and amplify them by creating a safe, supportive environment for expression. Through writing workshops, publishing opportunities, and meaningful connections, we foster a community where Black youth can share their stories and be heard.

Vision

We envision a future where Black youth are free to express themselves and share their thoughts without fear of limitation or silence. A future where they have equal access to mentorship, opportunity, and recognition as writers from all backgrounds. Black youth will have voices that will not only be heard, but centered, respected, and celebrated in writing.
