Green Silicon Valley

We’re a student-led group from Wilcox Highschool that gives presentations and interactive lessons at local elementary and middle schools. Our team creates fun, easy-to-follow activities to help kids see how STEM is connected to everyday life and environmental issues. We want to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage students to keep exploring science and technology as they grow. We received a 5k grant from Silicon Valley Power a couple years ago to accompish this, we are currently expanding on our volunteer oppertunity.

We also open opportunities for high school students to volunteer as presenters. Volunteers can earn community service hours while gaining leadership, teaching, and communication experience.
