Eco Habitat

Eco Habitat was born from a simple belief: anyone who wants to build their own home should have free or affordable access to the knowledge, the techniques, and the support to make it happen.

We are a social project in the making, based in Nova Friburgo, in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro state, dedicated to natural building, agroforestry, and accessible housing. We are still at the beginning — and that is part of what defines us. We are not an established institution. We are a group of people who believe that the future is built with hands in the soil and community all around.
