Good Works Network
About Us
The Good Works Network is a growing set of projects designed to connect generosity, sustainability, and care with real community needs. Some are live, some are prototypes, and others are coming soon.
Our Goals
- Develop adaptable solutions that respond directly to community needs and grow with feedback.
- Partner with nonprofits, shelters, and community groups to design projects that are collaborative and rooted in lived experience.
- Build the Good Works Network into a sustainable hub where digital tools and community projects can connect, expand, and scale over time.
Current Projects
- ThriftLink – Helps thrift stores and shelters share urgent needs in real time, reducing waste and connecting donations directly with community needs.
- GreenSpace – Turns unused land into gardens, play areas, or sustainable habitats through simple planning and visualization tools.
- Native Garden Planner – Guides people in creating resilient, low-maintenance gardens with region-specific plant lists that support pollinators and ecosystems.
- The Toy Rescue – Restores gently used toys with care and stories, making them available for adoption or donation to children’s hospitals and charities.
- Rescue Story – Helps shelters quickly generate creative, consistent adoption profiles for pets, increasing visibility and improving adoption rates.
- The Good Works App (coming soon) – Supports everyday acts of care, from meals to errands, giving neighbors a simple way to request and offer help.
We welcome volunteers, partners, and collaborators who want to test prototypes, help shape live programs, or contribute ideas and expertise to bring these projects to life.
