The Phoenix Haven Project

  • About Us

Phoenix Haven Project is a survivor-led initiative based in Minnesota, dedicated to exposing systemic failures in how domestic violence cases are handled. Our mission is to combine survivor voices with hard data, forensic-style reporting, and grassroots advocacy to push for meaningful reform. We serve survivors and families who have fallen through the cracks of courts, agencies, and traditional services.

What makes us different is our focus on accountability and evidence. We’re building tools like a Judge & Lawyer Misconduct Database, a Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team, and survivor-centered intake systems to document the truth and present it to lawmakers.

At Phoenix Haven, we believe survivors deserve more than survival — they deserve justice, safety, and systems that actually protect them. Volunteers play a critical role in shaping that vision into reality.
