Golden Minds

Golden Minds will offer a digital literacy program designed for seniors who are already comfortable using smartphones but want to build deeper, more practical tech skills. Weekly sessions will focus on topics like advanced messaging, video calling, photo organization, using YouTube and entertainment apps, adjusting phone settings, safe internet browsing, calendar and reminder tools, and online safety. Each session will be hands-on, led by trained student volunteers, and tailored to the pace and interests of the residents. The goal is to help seniors feel more confident, independent, and connected through meaningful use of technology. Our primary audience are elderly residents in care homes or assisted living communities. Our secondary are high and middle school students interested in community service and human connection.
