Winnable seeks an experienced application developer to act as the technical lead for development of a digital organizing platform, and to support additional custom project work. This will be the company’s first dedicated engineering hire, working closely with leadership and external stakeholders.
The Lead Platform Engineer will report to the CTO and assist in technical design and architecture, setting standards, implementing features, and addressing bugs.
This would be a full-stack developer role, with both frontend and backend work.
While this role is primarily centered on writing code and shipping features, it will also involve helping to evaluate and mentor future team members. This is an individual contributor position, but as the company grows, opportunities for a transition to a management role may be available for those who are interested.
In the first 3-6 months, the Lead Platform Engineer will assist in shipping numerous features in advance of a v1 platform launch and provide technical support as early adopters are onboarded. The Developer will also help establish best practices and processes around testing, security, and maintenance of the platform.
The role would include direct interaction with clients.

Winnable will consider full-time hires or contract-to-hire models for this role, depending on candidate background and experience.
For a contract-to-hire, compensation will be commensurate with the intended full-time salary. Conversion to full-time would be based on mutual fit and business needs after 3-6 months under contract.
