Through face-to-face outreach, our teams connect with the public to build long-term support for causes that create real, lasting change. By securing monthly donors, you help nonprofits plan, expand their programs, and continue delivering critical services to communities worldwide.

This role is ideal for people who enjoy meaningfully connecting with others in a dynamic, public-facing environment.

    About Public Outreach

We are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive workplace and developing future leaders—many of our managers and directors began their careers as fundraisers.

    What You’ll Do

    • Engage members of the public in high-traffic community spaces and neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles
    • Start conversations about important nonprofit campaigns
    • Clearly communicate the impact of ongoing donor support
    • Inspire individuals to become monthly contributors
    • Work closely with a supportive, motivated team in an energetic outdoor environment

    Pay & Benefits

    • $20/hour guaranteed starting pay (not commission-based)
    • Regular pay reviews and performance-based raises
    • Bonus opportunities
    • Paid training from your first day
    • Benefits eligibility after 3 months (full-time employees)
    • Paid time off
    • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

    Schedule

    • Shifts available Monday through Sunday
    • Minimum commitment: 3 full shifts per week (7-hour shifts)

    Available shifts include:

    • 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (earlier start times possible on weekends)
    • 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM

This role can be a great fit for balancing creative work, freelancing, or continuing education.
