    Description

    Sanky Communications, Inc., based in New York City, is dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations with their fundraising and marketing needs, integrating direct mail, digital fundraising, creative, analytics, and strategic consulting into comprehensive fundraising programs.

    The Project Manager is responsible for managing a roster of nonprofit clients and their fundraising campaigns. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage timelines, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and serve as the primary liaison between clients and Sanky's internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed accurately, on time, and on budget.

    The ideal candidate has experience in project management, account management, marketing, fundraising, or agency operations. This is an opportunity to work closely with nonprofit organizations and play a key role in helping them achieve their fundraising and marketing goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the day-to-day coordination and execution of fundraising and marketing campaigns.
    • Develop and maintain project timelines, schedules, and campaign deliverables.
    • Work closely with client strategy, creative, production, digital, and analytics teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
    • Utilize Basecamp and internal project management tools to organize, track, and coordinate campaign elements.
    • Manage client communications related to project timelines, approvals, and deliverables.
    • Route files, obtain approvals, coordinate revisions, and ensure projects move efficiently through production.
    • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and billing activities.
    • Review campaign materials at all stages for accuracy and quality control.
    • Coordinate client meetings, agendas, action items, and follow-up communications.
    • Keep clients and internal teams informed of project status and upcoming deadlines.

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of project management, account management, marketing, fundraising, or related experience.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
    • Experience with project management software; Basecamp experience is a plus.
    • Highly competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Sheets, Doc, Slides and Workspace.
    • Strong proofreading and quality assurance skills.
    • Creative and proactive problem solver.
    • Ability to prepare business communications that are coherent, professional, and grammatically correct.
    • Experience working with nonprofit organizations or fundraising programs is a plus.
