We are a private consulting firm with work in multiple states. Please be aware that all of our positions require some level of annual work travel.     We offer strategic and operational support to a broad array of clients, including governments, advocacy groups, foundations, health plans, and providers. Our unique and deep bench of experience and expertise is in federal and state health policy, health system transformation, addressing social determinants of health, outreach and enrollment, program, and operations.

    The full-time Program Associate is a forty-hour per week position. Transform Health's primary body of work requires experience with project management, supporting project deliverables, public speaking, creating work plans, project workflows, and using technology (e.g., project management software, Adobe, Excel, etc.). To be successful, you must be able to work independently, detail-oriented, eager to learn, an active listener, driven, and able to remain nimble across multiple projects in a dynamic health policy and program team environment of both remote and locally based experts.

    Duties include, but are not limited to:

      • Provide overall project support across multiple project teams and carry out a variety of tasks to finalize project deliverables such as ramping up a new project while also closing out another one simultaneously.
      • Manage projects by working independently to plan and execute a work plate that includes tracking progress and deadlines, crafting external and internal communications with clients and stakeholders, and raising issues in a strategic and timely manner to management.
      • Present external facing work with stakeholders to problem-solve, applying professional judgment and coordination across teams.
      • Support staff in editing and developing training content in PowerPoint, and usage of Canva types of visual making tools. This includes supporting our team in brainstorming approaches, editing content, and developing training materials in PowerPoint or other adult learning platforms in alignment with relevant style guides as needed.
      • Collaborate with a range of leadership and program staff to ensure detail-oriented work plans and reporting as well as consistency across our materials and the project/firm’s voice across written documents.
      • Write program reports in easy-to-understand, plain language.
      • Ensure deliverables and program activities are on track using project management workflows including developing comprehensive summaries, key takeaways, and work plans using project management tools, Word, and Excel.
      • Track time, proactively plan work, and provide updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders in accordance with the firm’s workflows.
      • Administrative functions such as note-taking, scheduling, and coordinating internal/external schedules, and developing and planning meeting agendas.
      • Provide infrastructural support and capacity building to the leadership of the firm including developing work plans; implementation planning; identification of training needs; and developing forms, processes, Excel tracking documents, workflows, and other processes to support operations.
      • Identify and elevate best practices, trends, and program issues to senior management in an organized way.
      • Some travel is required. Up to 5% to Sacramento, CA and other states where we carry out our work annually.
      • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum qualifications include:

      • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent experience in health policy, public policy,
      • Excellent communication skills: the ability to speak and write clearly in communications to internal and external stakeholders.
      • Demonstrated track record of prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
      • Understanding of health programs and policies.
