TSS is partnering with the Institute for Jewish Spirituality (IJS) to recruit a Finance & Development Associate. This newly created position is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with numbers, thrives on organization, catches the small details others miss, and wants to learn how a mission-driven organization operates behind the scenes.

You'll work closely with senior staff while supporting a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Accounts payable and financial operations
• Donor database management and gift processing
• Fundraising and development operations
• Office management and executive support
• Special projects and process improvements

We're looking for someone who is:

• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
• An excellent communicator
• Interested in nonprofit work and the mission of IJS (you do not need to be Jewish)

This is an outstanding opportunity to develop skills across multiple areas of nonprofit management while working for a collaborative organization with an exceptional mission.

Location: New York City (2-3 days/week onsite)

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 plus excellent benefits

This role is a FULL TIME position sourced through TSS. You would be employed and paid by the client company but we would represent you up until the offer stage.
