AMID Young Professional - Radboud University

The AMID Young Professional programme is a successful English postgraduate programme at the Radboud University Nijmegen in the field of international development, focused on recent Master graduates at the beginning of their career and with an affinity with international cooperation and social engagement. The programme has a dual nature: trainees work four days a week at an organisation based in the Netherlands engaged in issues related to international development and attend lectures at the university one day a week. .

AMID is for ambitious graduates that are committed to tackling complex, global issues, like climate change, poverty, inequality and other ambitions as formulated in the Sustainable Development Goals. Vice versa, the participating organisations get access to a pool of highly talented young graduates with the ambition to acquire the knowledge and skills to contribute to the realisation of the SDGs through multistakeholder collaboration.Trainees bring in the latest academic insights and best practices, as well as a diverse network of interesting actors. Over the years, nearly 100 organisations ranging from NGOs, to government institutes, knowledge institutes and (semi) profit organisations, participated regularly in the programme by offering one or more traineeships.
