Whirl-i-Gig is a Brooklyn-based software development firm working with museums, archives, arts organizations, non-profits and scientific research projects in the United States and internationally. Clients range from small organizations to national institutions; projects run the gamut from award-winning websites to bespoke unified cataloguing systems. Whirl-i-Gig is the primary development team behind CollectiveAccess, a highly flexible and easily customized, open-source collections management and presentation software increasingly used by libraries, artist studios, performing arts organizations and other groups around the world.
