Grant Martin Campaigns

Grant Martin has helped to create winning campaigns for 30 years. A native of Houston, Grant has worked to elect women candidates, candidates of color and LGBT candidates – including the late Congressman and former Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and Houston Mayor Annise Parker, the first openly gay or lesbian mayor of a major American city. Grant also helped elect all three Democratic county commissioners that turned Harris County – the third-largest county in the nation – blue.

Grant has also maintained a focus on Northern California, working to elect a diverse group of leaders in races for California Senate, California Assembly, county supervisor and mayor, and on ballot measure and independent expenditure campaigns.

Current clients include California State Senate President Pro Tem Mike McGuire, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, Harris County Commissioners Rodney Ellis and Adrian Garcia, Houston Controller Chris Hollins, Texas State Senator Molly Cook, Texas State Representatives Ann Johnson, Jolanda Jones, Lauren Ashley Simmons, and Jolanda Jones, and Houston City Council Members Abbie Kamin and Mario Castillo.
