Synergy Works Better exists to help community-driven organizations turn powerful ideas into sustainable impact. We work alongside nonprofits, faith-based organizations, grassroots leaders, artists, educators, and small businesses that are deeply connected to the communities they serve but often lack equitable access to funding, infrastructure, and strategic support.

We are not a “one-size-fits-all” consulting firm. We believe the people closest to the problems are also closest to the solutions, and our role is to help strengthen those solutions through fundraising strategy, grant writing, program development, capacity building, and long-term organizational support.

Our work is especially rooted in supporting under-resourced, BIPOC-led, women-led, and community-centered organizations that are doing transformational work with limited capacity and overwhelming demands. We help leaders organize their vision, strengthen operations, communicate impact, build partnerships, and secure funding that allows them to grow sustainably without losing the heart of their mission.

Synergy Works Better supports organizations at every stage — from startup nonprofits and grassroots initiatives building their foundation, to established organizations seeking larger grants, government funding, stronger systems, and deeper community impact.

Beyond grant writing, we help organizations think strategically about growth, leadership, collaboration, community trust, and long-term sustainability. Our approach is hands-on, relationship-centered, and grounded in real-world experience working directly within communities facing systemic inequities.
