About Us
Women of Change is a fundraising consulting firm that partners with nonprofits to increase their impact and make transformational change in the world. WOC seeks to empower, educate, and collaborate with nonprofits to strategize, manage, and execute plans to reach fundraising goals and increase impact.
WOC is led and managed by Raquel Marion-Virgo, a fundraising professional with over a decade of experience in organizations across the country. Her experience includes fundraising with a focus on grant writing, major donors, individual giving, corporate giving, and communications. To date, Raquel has raised over $100 million from diverse public and private sources. Raquel earned her B.A. in English at St. John’s University, and M.A. in Political Science (Urban Policy & Administration) at Brooklyn College.
