Elsie Management is dedicated to promoting exceptional, award-winning performing artists and companies with singular visions that scope the traditional and experimental gamut of the performing arts. We welcome the The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik:Deep Sea Explorer by Tim Watts (from Australia); Massive Company's The Brave(from New Zealand); Union Tanguera's Nuit Blanche (from France); Lucky Plush Productions; andAdele Myers and Dancers. Routed tours for international companies in the 13/14 season will include Polyglot Theatre, Tim Watts, Dance Works Rotterdam/André Gingras,Spellbound Contemporary Ballet, Australia's Strange Fruit, and Union Tanguera. Laura Colby foundedElsie Managementin 1995 for the sole purpose of representing her contemporary dance friends and peers at the annualArts Presenters conference – APAP. Today, Elsie Management promotes the careers of national and international performing arts companies on stages and performance opportunities across the globe. Offering a combination of management and development services, along with artist representation, Elsie Management consists of Director Laura Colby, Artist Representative/Business Manager, Anna Amadei, and Contracts Manager, Katie Diamond. Dedicated to developing the next generation of arts workers, we also maintain an on-going internship program. Elsie currently represents twenty-one companies, artists, and projects. With its office located in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn, we are members of theNorth American Performing Arts Managers and Agents,theAssociation of Performing Arts Presenters,Dance/USA,Western Arts Alliance,Dance Theater Workshop,International Society for the Performing Arts, and theInternational Performing Arts for Youth. We regularly attend national and internationalperforming arts convenings.
