Founded in 2003, Civic Edge Consulting (formerly Barbary Coast Consulting), quickly established itself as the Bay Area’s preeminent full-service public affairs firm. Our team provides award-winning communications and community outreach services to public agencies, municipalities, nonprofits, and civic organizations throughout the nine-county Bay Area.

We are a dynamic group of former political advisors and aides, public relations experts, and creative strategists. Though we take pride in our individual work, we know that our greatest achievements and surest road to success comes from thinking collaboratively—with each other and our clients.

Our approach is always to go above the norm or expected to deliver creative solutions and innovative communications that achieve our clients’ important and ambitious goals.
