    Karins's Barefoot Books is a small, single-foster-mom-owned business based in Jamaica Plain, Boston, MA. Karin Broadhurst, Barefoot Books Ambassador, shares Barefoot stories through early education teacher conferences, book fair fundraisers, community markets and events, and online. I manage a team of ambassadors who I train and support. The mission is to get more diverse books into the hands of children, thereby promoting empathy and acceptance of those who are different. (This is so important right now!) I receive support and training, as well as a free website, from the home office of Barefoot Books, as do the ambassadors on my team.

    Barefoot Books is a 25-year old,women-owned publishing company based in Cambridge, MA. Named a Forbes best small business in 2017, Barefoot Books are known for gorgeous illustrations, and for stories from around the world that promote empathy and diversity, social emotional learning, and more. Teachers love the singalongs, as well as the diverse representation of children represented!
