Event Highlights | From Intention to Action: Sharing Ideas for Social Impact

On Monday, August 30, Idealist hosted a free virtual event to kick off our new series, From Intention to Action: Sharing Ideas for Social Impact. Our guest speakers were Dan Zauderer, Co-founder of Mott Haven Fridge Network, and his colleague, Boston Jones, Community Outreach Coordinator. Dan and Boston talked about the impactful work that Mott Haven Fridge Network is doing in the NYC area to help fight food insecurity and shared tips for starting a community fridge. Audience members engaged in a Q&A discussion with our presenters and participated in a networking activity to help share ideas for taking action in their communities.
