    Description

    2026 Annual Peacebuilding Training

"Grounding Peace: Deepening Roots in Fragile Contexts"

The Annual Peacebuilding Training is a three-week training program organized and conducted once every year by MPI. It is part of the Institute’s Education and Training Direction that aims to capacitate individuals and their institutions in the field of peacebuilding, which began in the year 2000. Through this training, you will gain deeper knowledge and practical skills in peacebuilding, conflict transformation, climate justice, and related fields, while learning alongside participants from across Southeast Asia and beyond through rich context exchanges.

From May 18 to June 5, 2026, at the Mergrande Ocean Resort, Bago Aplaya, Talomo District, Davao City, Philippines, the training will consist of nine courses taught by long-time experienced facilitators from Asia-Pacific and North America. Three new courses will also be offered: Tech for Peace: Using Digital Tools for Conflict Transformation in Week 1; Psychosocial Trauma Healing and Resilience for Peacebuilders; and Culture, Arts, and Indigenous Wisdom in Practice: A Field-based Course in Week 3.

Submit your applications on or before April 20, 2026. A 5% discount is available for applicants who submit their application on or before March 20, 2026 (terms and conditions apply). You may visit our website and download the information packet for the full details: https://mpiasia.net/mpi2026
