Description
Volunteer with us as the American Red Cross host Sound the Alarm in Polk county on March 28th from 9:30am to 2pm. We'll be installing free smoke alarms and offering fire safety education in homes in the community. No experience necessary, we'll provide all the training you need. This event will be held rain or shine.

How to Join
If you have any questions, please contact the event coordinator, Mandy Smeed, at 980-348-7127 or mandy.smeed@redcross.org. We'll meet at the Columbus Emergency Communications Office, and head to our alarm installation locations from there. Please try to arrive 15 minutes early.
There is walking involved so please wear comfortable shoes. Lunch will be provided!
