Alternatives to Violence Intro Workshop

We have a free community workshop coming up in Hanford on September 19-20!

• No cost to participants
• Meals provided
• Participants receive a certificate that can be used on job applications and resumes
• Those interested may opt for additional training to become AVP facilitators

With 50 years in prisons, schools, and other community settings around the world, AVP is unique because it's experiential. Rather than a lecture or slideshow, participants learn through hands-on activities and discussion. While deeply meaningful, it’s also fun and full of laughter! This is hard to describe---you just have to experience it.

Attendance both days (Saturday and Sunday) is required. For those traveling from out of town, hospitality options are available for Saturday night. Please let us know in advance, so we can make arrangements.
