    Summer Games- Day off General Volunteer

    Reach for the Gold! Don't miss your chance to become a volunteer at the 2026 Summer Games! Over 1500 volunteers are needed to make Summer Games a successful event for the 1,100 Special Olympics Southern California athletes who will compete in Athletics (Track and Field), Basketball, Bocce, Flag Football, and Swimming! This year, our Opening Ceremony will be on Friday, June 5th. Be sure to check upcoming emails for more details!

    Please note:

    • The minimum age to volunteer at Summer Games is 14 years old, although age requirements may very per shift
    • Each person is required to have their own email address to register
    • All volunteer shifts are assigned on a first come, first serve basis

    Parking at CSULB:

    • Please take advantage of our parking structure, and open lots behind the structure.
    • ADA Parking will be available at the lot outside the front entrance of the Pyramid; look for signage.

    Parking is FREE, no need to purchase a permit for Summer Games Only!!

    Volunteer Opportunities will be listed; you can sort them or search for a sport or area of interest ( Athletics, Basketball, Bocce, Flag Football, or Swimming). Other non-sport-related opportunities in (Athlete Food Services, Breakfast with Champions, Sideline Medical, or Merchandise)
