Event Description
LoopRoots Foundation invites community members, advocates, volunteers, and individuals interested in criminal justice reform to join a virtual awareness discussion about the challenges families face when a loved one is incarcerated.
Millions of families across the United States struggle to stay connected with incarcerated loved ones due to transportation barriers, long travel distances, and limited support resources. These challenges often make it difficult for families to maintain meaningful relationships, even though family connection plays a critical role in successful reentry and reducing recidivism.
During this discussion, we will introduce LoopRoots Foundation’s mission and share how our programs are working to support individuals and families impacted by incarceration through transportation access for prison visitation, reentry support services, and community-based initiatives.
Participants will also have the opportunity to learn how they can become involved through volunteer opportunities, digital ambassador programs, research initiatives, and community outreach efforts.
This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about the issue and supporting solutions that strengthen families and communities.
