Join us to learn more about meaningful volunteer opportunities at Foundation Communities! This is a fantastic way to discover how you can make an impact through the wraparound services that support our residents and the greater Austin community.
Meet our dedicated staff and volunteers, explore ways to get involved, and find your perfect fit — whether that’s helping at our tax centers, enrolling neighbors in health insurance, stocking a food pantry, or tutoring students in after-school programs. You’ll also hear directly from Executive Director Walter Moreau and have the chance to tour our Jordan at Mueller community. Food and refreshments provided.

About us: Foundation Communities is a local, homegrown nonprofit. We provide affordable, attractive homes and free on-site support services for thousands of families with kids, as well as veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. We offer an innovative, proven model that empowers our residents and neighbors to achieve educational success, financial stability, and healthier lifestyles. We operate 31 apartment communities. – 28 in Austin and three more in North Texas.
