    Description

Issaquah History Museums - Trolley Volunteer Open House

Come meet members of our trolley volunteer squad at the Issaquah Depot Museum, and learn how you can get involved! This is a no-commitment opportunity to chat, mingle, and learn how you can play a role in bringing back the Issaquah Valley Trolley, which graced our historic rail line from 2012 to 2019.

Current volunteers, prospective volunteers, and past volunteers are all welcome to join. Some of the roles we know we'll need include:

    • Trolley drivers (aka "motormen")
    • Conductors
    • Platform agents
    • Mechanics and rail specialists (no prior trolley or rail experience required)
    • Special event support

Weather permitting, we'll plan to meet on the north end of the Depot's platform, near the trolley shed. If it's raining, we'll meet in the historic Freight Room.
