CEFN is a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering older adults to live healthier lives through nutritious eating, physical activity, and meaningful community engagement.
On April 10th, 2026, CEFN will host its 11th Annual Senior Gala–Boots on the Ground event, a vibrant celebration designed to bring our community together for an evening of fun, connection, and wellness. This exciting event will include:
- Live entertainment and music
- A delicious catered meal
- Dancing, giveaways, and more
- Raffles, prizes, and additional surprises
- Health Fair
With an expected turnout of over 500 older adults, we are committed to creating a lively and unforgettable experience for all our senior guests.
To make this event a success, we are seeking dedicated volunteers for a variety of roles, including but not limited to:
- Hostesses, greeters, and registration assistants
- Parking attendants and general support staff
- Event setup and breakdown teams
- Assistants for event coordinators
We deeply value the time, energy, and enthusiasm our volunteers bring to CEFN events. Join us in helping make this Boots on the Ground themed Gala a truly memorable celebration for our older adult community!

How to Join
Participation Requirements: Attend Orientation
Other Requirements: There will be a 30-60 minute online orientation held before the event. Each volunteer will be required to attend this orientation via Zoom. This orientation will involve a presentation going over the roles and procedures of the event.
