    Marketing Associate

    Reports to: Communications Director

    Location: Remote

    Employment Type: Full-time

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning, writing, design, and distribution of AG Bell’s marketing and event-related email communications and newsletters.
    • Manage email marketing platforms, including MailChimp and Constant Contact.
    • Develop audience segmentation strategies to improve engagement, reach, and retention.
    • Track and analyze performance metrics to refine and enhance future campaigns.
    • Support the Communications Director in developing Donor Appreciation Reports, End-of-Year Appeals, and other donor outreach materials.

    Event Marketing & Registration Sales

    • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote AG Bell’s events, including Parent Chats, LEAP, LOFT, the Annual Symposium, Fall Forum, and other programmatic offerings.
    • Create targeted email campaigns that drive event visibility, engagement, and registration growth.
    • Work in partnership with the Communications Director to develop social media marketing materials/campaigns for events.
    • Monitor registration trends, analyze campaign performance, and adjust strategies to meet registration goals.
    • Collaborate with Communications Director and other staff to ensure event messaging, timelines, and promotional materials are accurate, timely, and compelling.

    Sponsorship & Event Support

    • Collaborate with the Manager of Association Relations to support sponsor outreach and marketing materials for AG Bell’s major events, including the Annual Symposium, LOFT, and Fall Forum.
    • Develop marketing assets that highlight sponsorship opportunities and help steward sponsor relationships.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in communications or marketing, ideally in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment.
    • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
    • Proficiency with MailChimp, Constant Contact, and general email marketing practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to bring fresh ideas to donor engagement and marketing content.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Familiarity with CRM or donor engagement systems, such as Bloomerang and FundraiseUp, is a plus.
    • Understanding of accessibility best practices for digital communications.
