Bilingual Case Aide – Foster Care

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Program Director / Assistant Program Director, you will:

• Provide direct, daily supervision and support to unaccompanied children so they are safe, settled, and never navigating a new country alone.
• Accompany children to medical appointments and stay with them through care, so no health need goes unmet.
• Transport children to appointments and home, in- and out-of-state, getting them where they need to be, when they need to be there.
• Help case managers and the medical and education coordinators keep each child's records accurate and current — the documentation that moves a case toward safe release.
• Support the Medical Coordinator with outside appointments and the Education Coordinator with school enrollment and school needs.
• Collect, store, and safeguard each child's belongings
• Document interactions with children and sponsors to the standards of the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), the agency overseeing the care of unaccompanied children.
• Keep files organized and compliant with CCP, ORR, and state licensing and confidentiality requirements, and stay current as resettlement policies change.
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the treatment team so the support around each child is coordinated and whole.

This is a full-time position. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the schedule also includes some nights, weekends, and holidays as the program requires.

What You'll Bring To The Table

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• A valid, current driver's license and the ability to drive a company vehicle, or your own vehicle with current auto insurance, for in- and out-of-state travel
• Availability for a varied schedule that includes some nights, weekends, and holidays
• Comfort handling confidential, sensitive information with discretion; you will work within HIPAA and federal confidentiality standards, with training provided
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and Google Workspace) and a willingness to learn new systems
• Patience, cultural humility, and steadiness with young people who have been through a great deal

Preferred:

• Associate degree in a behavioral science or related field
• Experience in child welfare, case management, or direct care
• Prior experience serving immigrant populations, especially unaccompanied or refugee youth

Compensation: $42,000 – $48,320 annually.
