Twin Falls County Board of Community Guardians

  • Mission

The Twin Falls County Board of Community Guardians is here to ensure incapacitated members of our community, who have no other options, have a volunteer guardian to assist them in meeting their needs while while protecting their personal, civil, and human rights.

    About Us

The Twin Falls County Board of Community Guardians fulfills the duties and responsibilities of a Guardian, for Twin Falls County residents in need, as set forth by Idaho law. The Board acts as an administrative body that assists in recruiting, training, and monitoring the activities of Volunteers who have agreed to serve as their proxy in the guardianship process.

Becoming a Ward signifies the court has determined a person is incapacitated and lacks appropriate alternatives for meeting their own needs or managing their affairs.

The Board’s philosophy is to use the least restrictive alternative when making decisions and involvement by the Board is used when there are no other alternatives.

If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Guardian you can view the application on our website.
