  • About Us

SerVermont is Vermont’s State Service Commission. Our mission is to support, promote and recognize volunteerism and community service in Vermont.

The SerVermont VISTA Project is a comprehensive umbrella project that welcomes host sites tackling a wide array of poverty related issues in Vermont. We place members in organizations and state agencies to fight poverty across the state by increasing education and job-training opportunities, creating more food-secure communities, increasing safe and affordable housing, and fighting the opioid epidemic.

SerVermont is part of the Vermont Agency of Human Services, and national service is the means through which we work on the agency’s mission to improve the health and well-being of Vermonters today and tomorrow, and to protect those among us who are unable to protect themselves.
