    The VIP program helps support the Sheriff’s Office goals and mission by developing and strengthening partnerships and relationships with the community.

    About Us

    The program began in 1995 with the purpose of assisting the Sheriff’s Office. It started with just a few individuals who performed tasks which were mostly administrative in nature, but it has grown to be a valuable service to Henderson County by providing; added security to the Judicial Courthouse, security at the Historic Courthouse, front desk duty at the Sheriff’s Office, fingerprinting services for non criminal matters, traffic control for events, funeral escorts, and mobile watch in Henderson County neighborhoods to name a few.
