Mission
Our mission is to promote future public health leadership by providing our volunteers with hands-on training and experiences in outbreak response and emergency preparedness.
MRC volunteers contribute their time and efforts in a wide variety of situations, from natural disasters to health fairs. Our goal is to use the talents and strengths within each of our communities to better prepare us for an emergency.
As the MRC grows and develops, we will be offering opportunities to participate in public health initiatives, trainings and exercises.
About Us
Training will include:
- Empower volunteers on response to a disaster or public health emergency and train to deploy in the City of Detroit.
- Assist local health department with connecting the care to our residents in the event of a public health emergency.
- Support public health emergency response coordinators with mass dispensing or Immunization clinics
