  • About Us

The Institute for Public Service (IPS) is a 501C3, not for profit within the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services. It is the vehicle through which private foundation money is raised to support programs that are dedicated to career development opportunities for those in public service. Currently the money raised has been dedicated to two nationally known internship programs known as the Urban Fellows Program and the Humna Rights Fellowship. Both of these programs office real work experience to university graduates who are interested in public service and seek to work in the city government of New York.
