    KCD is co-located with USDA NRCS. We are a local provider of natural resource management services that help Kent County Residents to steward their lands and our environment for a cleaner, healthier, and economically stronger Michigan. As a local special purpose unit of government, KCD is governed by 5 locally elected board of directors. The guiding philosophy of Michigan Conservation Districts is that local people should make decisions on conservation issues with technical assistance provided by the government.
